Digital Moment, a national charity behind over 1 million youth engagements on digital skills across Canada, is hosting an evening where youth ages 8 to 17 and their families will experience AI three ways: Learn, Explore, and Build, through hands-on, accessible activities.
Full agenda, venue details, and speaker lineup will be shared with registered participants closer to the event.
AI for Youth is a family event built for two kinds of curiosity: young people ages 8 to 17 who want to better understand AI, and the parents and guardians who want to explore it alongside them. Find the section below that speaks to you.

Bring your kids, ages 8 to 17, for a free, supervised evening downtown:
• Short talks by age group, including one for parents
• Hands-on stations, staffed by an AI mentor
• Light snacks provided
• Bilingual, free, no technical background needed
• Younger kids and teens each get activities suited to their level
Participants under 15 must be registered by, and accompanied by, a parent or guardian

Everyone's talking about young people and AI. Here's a chance to actually be part of it:
• Talks that get into what AI can actually do
• Explore stations on AI in creativity, the environment, everyday life, and society
• A challenge where you use AI to tackle a real problem your city could face
• Collect Mission Passport stamps along the way
• Light snacks provided
Ages 15–17 can register directly. Under 15? A parent or guardian will need to register with you.
Every participant will receive an AI Mission Passport at check-in. A stamp will be given for each talk, station, or challenge completed. Five stamps will earn you a chance to dive deeper into the AI ecosystem!
