AI is a powerful and complex tool.

To use it responsibly and inclusively, we must ensure that everyone, especially youth, has the knowledge to understand and shape it.

At the United Nations High-Level Political Forum, our CEO, Indra Kubicek, took the stage at Canada’s official side event on Inclusive and Sustainable Jobs, moderated by the Honourable Patty Hajdu (Parliamentarian), alongside Siyu (Suzanna) Chen, Global Youth Ambassador representing Autism Alliance of Canada | Alliance canadienne de l'autisme,to pose a powerful question: "How can we use technology and AI to support an inclusive and sustainable economy, and advance SDG 8 for everyone, and in particular youth?"

Here are 3 key takeaways representing our mission at Digital Moment:

1. AI Literacy is the New InfrastructureJust like reading and math in the 20th century, AI literacy must be foundational for the 21st. With over 65% of youth destined for jobs that don’t yet exist, the time to close the skills gap is now.

2. Equity Must Be Designed InAI is not neutral—it mirrors the systems and biases of its creators. If we embed equity in the design of AI strategies, we can transform it into a tool for justice rather than division. That means accessible, culturally relevant education and opportunities for all youth.

3. Youth as Creators, Not Just UsersYoung people are not waiting for the future—they’re already solving today’s biggest challenges using tech and AI. Let’s stop treating them as passive participants and start investing in them as innovators and leaders.

Our call to action:

“Let’s make AI literacy a universal human right. Let’s build equity-first programs. And let’s support youth as creators of the technologies that will shape our collective future.”
