Digital Moment has launched the National AI Council for Canada’s Future Workforce
A new strategic advisory body created to ensure youth, education, and workforce readiness are embedded in Canada’s next artificial intelligence strategy.
Formed in response to the federal government’s ongoing AI strategy renewal following Minister Evan Solomon’s AI Strategy Task Force, the Council brings together leaders from across the AI, education, research, and policy sectors to help shape a national approach that prepares young Canadians to thrive in an AI-driven economy.
The Council will provide strategic advice to Digital Moment, helping align youth-focused AI education and talent development with federal priorities including innovation, commercialization, safety, and long-term economic growth.
As artificial intelligence plays an increasingly central role in how Canadians learn, work, and participate in society, the Council’s work ensures that young people are not only prepared to use AI, but empowered to help shape how it is developed and governed.

The Council is co-chaired by Indra Kubicek, CEO of Digital Moment, and Sandra Saric, Consultant at Digital Moment, and is championed by Marc-Étienne Ouimette, Chair of Digital Moment’s Board and a member of Canada’s AI Strategy Task Force.
