About this event

Pre-ticked boxes. Pop-ups that guilt players into buying. Microtransactions, in-game currencies, and constant data collection. Many games young people love are designed to keep them tapping, spending, and sharing more than they realize. This workshop gives you a hands-on way to bring that conversation into your classroom, whether or not you game yourself.

The session is scheduled right after the school day and leaves you with everything you need to teach it. Digital Moment is a national charity with over 1 million youth engagements in digital and AI literacy across Canada.

This session is delivered in English. It is also offered Tuesday, December 1 at 7:00 PM ET in English, and Wednesday, December 2 at 5:00 PM ET in French.
